Angela L. Belleville is a licensed counselor and the founder of Bella Health. With over 20 years of experience, her work is built on two core values: providing trusted trauma-informed care and advancing the use of evidence-based therapies that foster lasting change.
Angela specializes in PTSD treatment and is highly trained and certified in leading, research-backed approaches, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), EMDR (including EMDR 2.0), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and other trauma-focused CBT modalities. Recognizing that recovery doesn’t follow a single path, she emphasizes flexibility in care—drawing on different therapeutic approaches as needed to ensure individuals have the options and support that best fit their healing journey.
As a sought-after trainer, Angela has developed and led clinical training initiatives at both intimate and large-scale levels, equipping clinicians, police, healthcare teams, mission-driven nonprofits, and community advocates with the skills and confidence to provide effective trauma care. Known for her dynamic and engaging training style, she makes complex concepts digestible and practical, ensuring participants leave with actionable strategies they can confidently apply. She has provided training and consultation for organizations including Boston University, U-Albany, NASW-NY Chapter, Eliot Community Human Services, Firefly Health, Private Practice Colloquium, Lightworks, Wellable, and Healing Abuse Working for Change (HAWC), among others.
Angela earned her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University in 2003, with a focus on political, feminist, and multicultural psychology. Her career spans psychiatric trauma units, DBT programs, nonprofit community-based behavioral health leadership, and community advocacy—giving her a deep understanding of how trauma and healing are shaped by individual, systemic, and community factors. She also founded Rock for HAWC, a music and arts-centric fundraiser supporting survivors of domestic violence, reflecting her deep commitment to community awareness.
With the founding of Bella Health, Angela brings her clinical expertise, real-world experience, commitment and passion for healing into a high-touch, personalized care environment—while helping shape a more trauma-informed future through training, supervision, and consultation.
“Being trusted to join someone in their healing journey- even for a brief time- has been one of the most joyous and humbling endeavors of my career.”
