We believe everyone deserves a space that feels safe, understood, and supported. That is the foundation of trauma-informed care and guides everything we do. When trauma, especially PTSD, is central to your story, healing often requires more than support alone. Bella Health offers specialized, evidence-based trauma treatment tailored to your goals, your pace, and your life.
Our clinicians are trained in leading, evidence-based trauma therapies, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET), among the most effective treatments for post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and related conditions.
What sets Bella Health apart is our commitment to PTSD-focused care that goes beyond symptom management toward deep, lasting change. Each client receives a personalized treatment plan that draws on multiple modalities, offering flexibility and meaningful, measurable progress.
Our founder, Angela L. Belleville, LMHC, LPCC, LCPC, brings over two decades of experience in trauma-focused behavioral health. Licensed in California, Massachusetts, and Maine, she has trained and supervised hundreds of providers in trauma-informed care and advanced cognitive therapies. Her approach is practical, warm, and structured, while remaining flexible and relational. It is grounded in evidence-based care and real-world application, with a focus on supporting clients in strengthening their own resilience and capacity for change.
If you’ve been impacted by trauma, you know how much it can shape the way you think, feel, and move through the world. It can take up significant space in daily life and in the nervous system. Healing is not linear, and at times it can feel out of reach. But meaningful change is possible and evidence-based treatment has supported many people in rebuilding a steadier sense of self and connection. Whether you’re ready to begin therapy in California, Massachusetts, or Maine, we’re here to help you take the next step forward.

Hi, I’m Angela. I’m a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience helping adults navigate PTSD and the lingering effects of trauma. I believe trauma is an injury—not a disorder—and, like any injury, it deserves proper care, attention, and a safe, supportive space to heal.
Survival. We are wired to survive. Initial trauma responses are ways our nervous system tries to keep us safe and help us endure the unexpected, the unimaginable, and deeply disorienting threats and dangers.
Healing. We are also wired to heal. Almost immediately after an injury, our body starts clotting, cleaning, signaling, and laying the groundwork for repair—even if we aren’t aware of it.
Adapting. We are resilient and creative, finding ways to navigate through almost any challenge.
Connecting. Healing is strengthened by connection—with supportive people, relationships, and within ourselves and our values. Connection helps us feel safe. Understood. Grounded.
My approach is goal-oriented and time-respecting, designed to help you heal, reclaim agency, and move forward in ways that matter most to you. I’ve found that survivors often already carry what they need within themselves—my role and approach are to offer guidance and tools to better access and trust that inner wisdom.
I also provide supervision, training, and consulting for clinicians, organizations, and the community.
