CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) is an evidence-based approach shown to help reduce trauma and PTSD symptoms while supporting growth and improvement in other areas of life. This group does not require sharing trauma details or revisiting past experiences. Instead, it focuses on developing a present-day understanding of how trauma has shaped beliefs about safety, trust, control, self-worth, and connection—while offering tools to gently examine beliefs that may no longer serve and discover new, more supportive perspectives. Each session introduces a new skill or theme, provides space to process it safely, and encourages practice between sessions, helping participants build confidence, mastery, and tools for self-counseling.
A brief screening is required prior to joining to ensure the group is a good fit!
